This innovative consultation program developed by TRCG is designed to help assess your organization’s potential liability exposure from unauthorized access to PHI. The program consists of three interrelated components:

Risk Assessment

1. TRCG performs an off-site audit of your organization’s potential risk exposure, inventorying your relevant policies and procedures, which are carefully reviewed to ensure compliance with all relevant HIPAA regulations and guidelines. In addition, any past incidents of unauthorized access to PHI at your organization are reviewed to identify systemic deficiencies that allowed prior incidents to occur.
2. Upon completion of the off-site audit, TRCG will prepare a detailed audit report for your organization identifying potential areas of risk exposure and setting forth recommendations of how to prevent unauthorized access to PHI by members of your workforce.
3. A representative of TRCG will meet with your organization’s Privacy Officer and members of senior management to review TRCG’s audit report.

Educational

An on-site educational seminar is made available to members of your workforce explaining the problem of unauthorized access to PHI and the risks they face as individuals, as well as those they pose to your organization. To assist you in making this educational seminar available to as many employees as possible, the educational seminar can be scheduled up to three (3) different times.

The “Risk Assessment” and “Educational” components are offered on a fixed fee basis. Additional on-site educational seminar sessions can be arranged if required.
